About Cornerstone College & Seminary

Faithfully Committed to Equipping Students for Ministry Since 1969

Who We Are

In the late sixties, Dr. G. Albert Brown, Jr. had a vision of raising up pastors who are enthralled by the glory of God and devoted to the cause of Christ. As scores of students received the pastoral mentorship they needed, Dr. Brown’s ministry began to expand into the world of higher education, leading to the establishment of Cornerstone College & Seminary (CCS).

Now, Cornerstone continues in its original mission of equipping students to advance the cause of Christ.

Why Choose Cornerstone College & Seminary?

Whether online or on-campus, being a student at CCS means you’re studying with a Christ‑centered institution committed to biblical faithfulness, academic excellence, and accessible, affordable training for real‑world ministry. CCS exists to equip men and women to advance the gospel—wherever God has placed them—through flexible online programs grounded in Scripture and shaped by experienced faculty.

More Than Credentials—Experienced Ministers Training the Next Generation for the Cause of Christ

CCS prepares pastors, counselors, teachers, missionaries, ministry leaders, and everyday disciples who love Christ, serve their communities, and pursue excellence in their calling. Our graduates step into churches, nonprofits, workplaces, and mission fields with a strong biblical foundation and a heart to make Christ known.

 About Us

Online Ministry Training

What began as a simple desire to provide faithful, accessible biblical training has grown into a national ministry. Cornerstone College & Seminary recognizes that the flexible and affordable nature of online theological education opens doors for men and women who are called to ministry but are unable to uproot their lives to attend a traditional campus.

Today, CCS offers a range of Christ‑centered online certificates and degree programs designed for students who need flexibility without sacrificing academic depth or biblical fidelity. CCS provides accessible pathways at the certificate, associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, all built on a commitment to Scripture and practical ministry preparation.

What Our Students Say About Us

Small class sizes lead to personal interactions with the CCS faculty and students, creating a dynamic and engaging learning community. CCS students are bonded by a shared vision; even though each student is on a different path, all are answering God’s call.

Our Pledge to CCS Students & Staff

Cornerstone is fully committed to the academic, educational, and spiritual growth of its students and staff. Through this commitment, CCS is currently pursuing further accreditation to better equip its students and aid in their professional calling.

Whatever God is calling you to do, Cornerstone College & Seminary is here to help you take that next step. Whether on-campus or online, your biblical and academic preparation at CCS will equip you to follow God’s call with God’s Word as your guide.

Our Faculty

The faculty who teach and mentor at CCS are experienced pastors, scholars, counselors, missionaries, and ministry leaders with advanced training and a deep commitment to the authority of God’s Word. They bring real‑world ministry experience into the classroom and invest personally in the growth of each student.

Discipleship in Every Classroom

Every faculty member is dedicated to discipleship, academic excellence, and spiritual formation, helping students develop both competence and character. Their goal is to prepare graduates who think biblically, serve faithfully, and lead with integrity in whatever calling God has given them.

About CCS
  • I am absolutely blown away by CCS instructors for their care and support. It is remarkable. I get one on one attention. The professors are supportive and helpful.

  • Stepping into college was fearful for me for the unknowns. I am blown away from the glory of God in just the first week of my studies. God is revealing more of Himself to me. I cannot be more certain that God has led me down this path. I don’t need to go anywhere else for a master’s program.

  • I tell everyone I know about CCS. It is great. The classes are great. The professors are great. I am learning a lot.

  • The classes at CCS get me to think through things deeply. The additional study needed for my classes is improving my mind and my ability to analyze. I am having a great time learning.

  • I loved taking the Biblical Counseling course last semester. All-in-all, that was one of my favorite courses that I have taken.

  • One of my favorite parts about CCS is the community. I am always excited to come to class because everyone is so friendly and I know my presence is appreciated.

  • I wanted to have a good foundation for anything my husband is called to in ministry. CCS is really helping me think deeply about ministry and the Bible; it’s not just about what I think, it’s about what is true to the Bible.

  • “I went from going nowhere at community college, to having a purpose in pursuing a degree that can give me a career and it integrates the Bible too. I cannot believe it! Plus with the GFM scholarship, it is free!”

  • I learned so much about the basics of what my faith rests upon. I love the classes. Professors are always happy to answer any quesiton in such a thorough manner and they really inspire discussion among everybody.

  • Come visit Cornerstone! The campus is cozy and there is lots to do in the area.
