Biblical Studies Specialization
The Biblical Studies specialization at Cornerstone College & Seminary’s Master of Divinity (MDiv) program focuses on deepening your understanding of the Bible through rigorous coursework in biblical languages (Greek and Hebrew), exegesis, and hermeneutics. Students will engage in comprehensive studies of both the Old and New Testaments, exploring foundational texts and their historical contexts. This specialization prepares students for roles in biblical scholarship, teaching, and ministry that emphasizes scriptural integrity and interpretation.
Christian Education Specialization
The Christian Education specialization prepares students to design, implement, and evaluate educational programs within the church and other Christian organizations. Courses in this specialization cover educational theory, curriculum development, and pedagogical methods tailored to Christian contexts. Students will also engage in practical experiences, such as teaching and leading educational programs, to develop their skills in creating engaging and effective learning environments. Graduates are equipped for roles in Christian education, youth ministry, and other educational ministries.
Ministry Leadership Specialization
The Ministry Leadership specialization is designed to equip students with the practical skills and theological knowledge necessary for effective leadership in various ministry settings. This specialization includes courses in Christian spiritual formation, ministry residency, and leadership theory. Students will gain hands-on experience through ministry residencies, working alongside experienced ministry leaders to develop their leadership abilities. Graduates are prepared for pastoral roles, church administration, and other leadership positions within the church and parachurch organizations.

Admissions Requirements
Admission to this program is limited to persons holding a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent who also meet all other admission requirements for Cornerstone College and Seminary.
Master of Divinity - 66 Credit Hours (CR)
Master of Divinity students must complete 36 credit hours of specialization courses (Biblical Studies, Christian Education, or Ministry Leadership). As the student moves through the program they have the option to stop at the 36 credit milestone to earn their Master of Biblical Studies, Master of Ministry Leadership, or Master of Christian Education before proceeding on to the additional 30 credits for the Master of Divinity. Students must complete a total of 66 semester hours of credit with an overall GPA of 2.0 or better. Not more than 10 additional credit hours may be taken to make up a deficiency in quality points that are required for the M.Div. degree.
