Course Description:
In today’s world, the ability to communicate effectively is essential. Students learn both the art and science of oral communication in order to become better public speakers. Through the study of the art of communication, students can learn to constructively engage in conversations, deliver powerful presentations, and develop their own personal style of speaking. The science of communication involves understanding the mechanics and dynamics of the process, such as vocal quality, body language, and how to deliver a message in a way that resonates with the audience. By exploring both sides of communication, students can become more confident public speakers who are able to effectively communicate their ideas and engage with their audience. Students can use what they learn in this course in ministry, academic, vocational, and social settings.
At Cornerstone, I am able to take courses at cheaper tuition rates than other colleges. Plus, the professors are very friendly and every class feels personal.
