About Us

Hear from our students

At Cornerstone, I am able to take courses at cheaper tuition rates than other colleges. Plus, the professors are very friendly and every class feels personal.

Daniel Gowaty CCS Student

I loved taking the Biblical Counseling course last semester. All-in-all, that was one of my favorite courses that I have taken.

Caedryn McKenna CCS Student

Professor Jay quickly became a favorite professor of mine for his similar sense of humor compared to mine, but also his love for helping others in cultivating their own sound theology.

Daniel Milam CCS Student

One of my favorite parts about CCS is the community. I am always excited to come to class because everyone is so friendly and I know my presence is appreciated.

About Cornerstone College & Seminary

Who We Are

Cornerstone College & Seminary got its start as Fredericksburg Bible Institute in the late sixties. Now renamed, Cornerstone continues in its original mission of being Christ-centered and career-focused.

CCS students find their purpose through educational programs that define pathways to Biblical and professional college degrees. Our students can deepen their faith and enhance their career skills by enrolling in an eight-week, flexible online course, or in traditional face-to-face sixteen-week courses on campus.

Students can find their purpose as they choose from many degree options, such as Biblical Studies and Theology degrees. Through our partnership with Lancaster Bible College, students can choose to pursue an accredited degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Criminal Justice, Accounting, Ministry Leadership, Biblical Studies, and more! Cornerstone College & Seminary is where students are a part of a college community aimed toward serving and growing in God’s calling.

Academic Excellence

With over 380+ courses, CCS offers the education you need to answer your call. Cornerstone provides a Christ-centered pathway to a theological and professional education that fully equips our students for kingdom work in the church and in the world.

Whatever God is calling you to do, Cornerstone College & Seminary is here to help you take that next step. Our mission is to enhance the wisdom of our students in the stewardship of their God-given gifts and talents. Whether on-campus or online, your biblical and academic preparation at CCS will equip you to follow God’s call with God’s Word as your guide.

Cornerstone is fully committed to the Academic, educational, and spiritual growth of its students and staff. Through this commitment, CCS is currently pursuing further accreditation to better equip its students and aid in their professional calling.

Our History

In 1969 Dr. G. Albert Brown, Jr. made the decision to take his ministry to the collegiate level. On September 2, Fredericksburg Bible Institute was created and chartered. Since that day, CCS (formerly FBIS) has been sharing the good news of the Gospel and aiding in the spiritual and educational growth of its students.
